FAQs

Do residents have access to the lagoon?

Yes, residents who live in Epperson and are part of the Epperson Club LLC have access to the lagoon during normal operating hours.

Do guests of Epperson residents have access to the lagoon?

Yes, Epperson Club LLC resident-members are welcome to bring their guests to the Metro Lagoon of Epperson. Every resident-member will receive 25 free guest passes to use throughout the year. Once all 25 passes have been put to use, each guest of a resident-member will be charged $5 to access to Metro Lagoon. Fees apply to all guests ages 3+. Please note, to take advantage of this discounted pricing, resident and guest must arrive at the lagoon together.

Do non-Epperson residents have access to the lagoon?

Non-residents will be granted limited access to the lagoon for a fee. The Metro Lagoon at Epperson is the first-of-its-kind amenity in the United States and we have not yet determined if we will continue limited non-resident access once the community is completed.

How do I purchase a day pass to the Epperson lagoon?

Day passes must be purchased at the front entrance of the lagoon, or online. *Not guaranteed if purchased in person.

Are multi-day passes available?

Annual/monthly passes are not available. To gain access to the lagoon you must be an Epperson Club LLC resident member or pay the per-person rate every day.

Is there a fee for parking?

Parking is free for all visitors.

Can my children access the lagoon without me?

Patrons under the age of 13 years old must be accompanied by a patron that is at least 13 years or older to enter.

What are the hours of operation?

Initially, the lagoon will open around 11AM and most days will close at dusk. We will post actual hours of operation onsite and on this website. Please note that hours are subject to change for special events, holidays and seasonal considerations throughout the year.

What should I wear to the lagoon?

The Epperson Lagoon is a family-friendly environment. You must wear appropriate beach/swim attire at all times.  No thongs, no Brazilian cut bath suits.  For the health and safety of all our guests, children in diapers are required to wear a swim diaper when entering the lagoon waters.
